Born in Barcelona in 1938, he works and lives in Paris. L J-B is a complete artist. Some know him for the Catalan abstract art, the others for the work from various materials as the sand, the earth, tissues, ropes, the others finally for the sculptures.
Since 1955, L B-J crosses the world. From Madrid to Paris, by way of Prague, Berlin but also, Geneva, Chicago, London either still New York, its work crosses the foremost spaces of exhibition, such the MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona) or the Contemporary Arts Center of Lille.
